What We Believe
1. We believe in a Triune God, three persons of the Godhead, but one God – Matthew 28:19.
2. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, our Savior because of His sacrifice on the Cross, and His resurrection – I Corinthians 15:1-4.
3. We believe in the Holy Spirit, third person of the Trinity, who indwells each believer –
Ephesians 1:13.
4. We believe the Bible is God’s Word to guide, instruct, encourage, and correct believers –
2 Timothy 3:16, 17.
5. We believe God has managed humanity differently in separate, distinct ages, sometimes called dispensations – Ephesians 3:1-12.
6. We believe that humanity is a sinful, fallen race in need of the Savior, Jesus Christ –
Romans 3:10-18.
7. We believe there is only one true way of salvation, by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ –
John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8, 9.
8. We believe in the organized, visible church as God’s official vehicle of ministry –
Acts 2:41-47.
9. We believe the Bible describes the parameters of godly living – Romans 6:14-17.
10. We believe that Christians live in a sinful body, but are indwelt by God’s Spirit, who enables them to live victorious lives – Galatians 5:16-25.
11. We believe the Holy Spirit gifts each believer with a spiritual ability – I Peter 4:10.
12. We believe that true believers in Christ are eternally secure in their salvation –
John 10:27-29.
13. We believe in a fallen angel, Satan, whose goal is to usurp God’s rule of this world and capture all of the unredeemed humanity – Matthew 4:2-11; 25:41.
14. We believe that Jesus Christ will return, first for true believers (I Thess. 4:13-18), and finally following seven years of Tribulation (Rev. 19:11-16), to establish His Kingdom.
15. We believe that all believers will reign with Christ forever (Rom. 8:17, 18), but that all unbelievers will suffer in hell forever with Satan (Rev. 20:13-15).
